Harris HP742 CGA 320 CO2 Regulator
The Harris HP742 is a two-stage stainless steel regulator with a CGA 320 inlet for carbon dioxide (CO2). Its 316L stainless steel body and diaphragm suit grade 6.0 gases and applications where either the internal gas or the external environment is harsh or corrosive. See all models in our Stainless Steel Regulators.
Gas service: CGA 320
CGA 320 is the standard connection for carbon dioxide cylinders. It seals with a flat washer, so replace the washer at every cylinder change and leak-test with soap solution. CO2 cools sharply as it expands: below about 60 psig delivery it can form dry-ice snow inside the regulator, while frost on the outside is only moisture from the air. For high, continuous CO2 flow, ask us about the Harris HP705 electrically heated regulator.
Choose the Harris HP742 for CO2 in harsh conditions, around corrosive vapors, or for CO2 mixtures with corrosive components. Setting up a cell culture incubator? See our ready-to-connect CO2 incubator regulator and the two-cylinder CO2 manifold.
