Harris HP722C CGA 590 Air Regulator
The Harris HP722C is a two-stage ultra high purity (UHP) regulator with a CGA 590 inlet for industrial air (other than USP). A 316L stainless diaphragm, PTFE seats and a 1×10-9 cc/sec helium leak rate make it the standard choice for grade 5.0 gas chromatography work. See all models in our High Purity Regulators.
Gas service: CGA 590
CGA 590 is the connection for industrial air (air other than USP / medical grade), zero air and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6). Medical grade (USP) air uses CGA 346 instead. CGA 590 is a left-hand thread. The Harris HP722C supplies high purity air, such as GC zero air, for laboratory instruments and gas chromatography.

- Two-stage design, plated brass barstock body (the “C” in HP722C means plated: chrome plated in Harris’s 2021 catalog, nickel plated in current production)
- 1-11/16″ 316L stainless steel diaphragm
- High purity PTFE seals and valve seats; seat protected by a 10 micron inlet filter
- External relief valve, standard on the HP722C
- Inboard helium leak rate 1×10-9 cc/sec
- 2″ dual-scale gauges
- Outlet pressure: selectable 0-15, 0-50, 0-125, 0-250 or 0-500 psig (choose above); the 0-125 psig range has a 30″Hg vacuum to 200 psi outlet gauge
- Maximum inlet pressure 3000 psig
- Flow coefficient Cv 0.06; delivery changes only about 0.05 psig per 100 psig drop in cylinder pressure
- Purity: grade 5.0 (99.999%) ultra high purity (UHP) gases
- Front or rear panel mountable
- Outlet valve included: 1/4″ MNPT needle valve
