Harris HP702 CGA 590 Air Regulator
The Harris HP702 is a two-stage high purity regulator with a CGA 590 inlet for industrial air (other than USP). Harris rates the HP702 for high purity gases up to grade 5.0, and its stainless diaphragm means no neoprene in the gas path. It is listed in our General Purpose Regulators.
Gas service: CGA 590
CGA 590 is the connection for industrial air (air other than USP / medical grade), zero air and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6). Medical grade (USP) air uses CGA 346 instead. CGA 590 is a left-hand thread. The Harris HP702 is used with non-corrosive gases for pressure testing and incubator applications, and as a zero air supply for instruments.

- 2-1/8″ 302 stainless steel diaphragm, no neoprene diaphragms
- PTFE seat and seals; seat protected by a 10 micron sintered inlet filter
- External relief valve, standard on the HP702
- Inboard helium leak rate 1×10-8 cc/sec
- 2″ dual-scale gauges
- Outlet pressure: selectable 0-15, 0-50, 0-125 or 0-250 psig (choose above); the 0-125 psig range has a 30″Hg vacuum to 200 psi outlet gauge
- Maximum inlet pressure 3000 psig
- Flow coefficient Cv 0.15; delivery changes only about 0.04 psig per 100 psig drop in cylinder pressure
- Purity: high purity up to grade 5.0 (99.999%)
- Outlet: pipe thread outlet fitting with 1/4″ MNPT needle valve
