Harris GP402 CGA 540 Oxygen Regulator
The Harris GP402 is an economy two-stage regulator with a CGA 540 inlet for oxygen. It is Harris’s general purpose brass regulator, sold here in our Economy Application Regulators, and it is an economical way to get steady two-stage delivery for low purity gases.

CGA 540 is the oxygen cylinder connection. Keep any oxygen regulator dedicated to oxygen and completely free of oil and grease, inspect the threads before connecting, and open the cylinder valve slowly.
The Harris GP402 is the economy option for industrial oxygen. For research or high purity oxygen, compare the HP702 CGA 540 and HP722C CGA 540.

- Two-stage design, brass body with painted die-cast bonnet
- Neoprene diaphragm, which Harris notes gives greater sensitivity
- PTFE seat, protected by a 10 micron nickel-plated sintered bronze inlet filter
- Tamper-proof, self-reseating internal relief valve
- 2″ dual-scale gauges (psi/kPa)
- Outlet pressure: selectable 0-15, 0-50, 0-125 or 0-250 psig (choose above); the 0-125 psig range has a 30″Hg vacuum to 200 psi outlet gauge
- Maximum inlet pressure 3000 psig
- Flow coefficient Cv 0.15; delivery pressure changes only about 0.04 psig for every 100 psig drop in cylinder pressure
- Purity: up to grade 4.0 (99.99%), for low purity applications
- 1/4″ MNPT pipe thread outlet
- Conforms to CGA E-4

- Low to medium pressure lab uses where neoprene is acceptable
This regulator is great for low to medium pressure oxygen applications. The dual stage regulator maintains gas pressure stability by regulating the pressure twice before delivering oxygen to your equipment.
